A Charlotte native with a proven background in clean energy and large-scale sales leadership, Nate brings both technical expertise and a passion for serving local businesses to Horizon’s expanding team.

Nate began his sales career in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the residential solar industry, where he quickly rose through the ranks by building and leading high-performing sales teams. His leadership and drive took him to multiple new cities, where he helped open and grow successful sales offices.

He later joined GAF Energy, playing a key role in launching the innovative Timberline Solar™ Shingle across the Southeast. This experience gave him a unique perspective on the intersection between roofing and renewable energy technology. Before joining Horizon, Nate transitioned into commercial and utility-scale solar, managing complex projects and developing strong relationships across the energy and construction industries.

Now back home in Charlotte, Nate is bringing that same energy, experience, and commitment to Horizon Roofing’s commercial clients.

Outside of work, Nate’s passion for the outdoors keeps him on the move. He loves snowboarding, hiking, hunting, and fishing, and is an avid rugby player and fan, having played throughout his life, including in college. His competitive, team-first mindset naturally translates into his work—collaborative, disciplined, and results-driven.
